The Silk Road is please to present our first Belgian Beer Dinner, designed by Chef Abraham Risho with beers through George's Distributing. 
We're so excited, and hope you find this 
menu as exciting as we do!  

First Course

Scallion pancake crisped in sesame oil, 
served with 
pickled vegetables & Raja dressing
BEER: Wandering Aengus, Wanderlust Cider, Salem, Oregon


Second Course

Ahi Tuna escabeche marinated in sherry vinegar, 
topped with heirloom melon and arugula salad
Beer: Troubadour, Blond, Flanders, Belgium


Third Course

Deconstructed bigos (Polish stew) of slow cooked kielbasa & butafara sausages, 
sour cabbage, allspice, juniper, telecherry peppercorns & wild mushrooms
Beer: Poperings, Hommel Ale, Watou, Flanders, Belgium


Fourth Course

Ethiopian BBQ: pheasant dry rubbed with berbere chilis & then smoked, 
served with injera (flat bread) & jicama, pine nut & yogurt slaw
Beer: Monk’s Café, Flemish Sour Ale, Meetjesland, Flanders, Belgium


Fifth Course

Quick-cured pork belly rubbed with mole negro & slow roasted, 
served over simmered white beans with ancho chile & sun-blushed grape tomatoes
Beer: Golden Draak, Dark Triple, Meetjesland, Flanders, Belgium


Sixth Course

Cambazola cheese wrapped in puff pastry & baked, 
covered in spiced apricot compote
Beer: Scotch de Silly, Scotch Ale, Silly, West Wallonia, Belguim


Beer: Wittekerke, Framboise, Bavikhove, West Flanders, Belgium
